Visiting and supporting households affected by rain and floods in Tan Thanh commune

On November 5, a working delegation from Tay Ninh province and Tan Thanh commune, led by member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Nguyen Thi Thu Trinh, visited and encouraged households in difficult circumstances who suffered damage caused by rain and floods in Tan Thanh commune.

Joining the delegation were Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Bui Quoc Bao; Commune Party Committee Secretary Le Xuan Khang; and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Duong Thi Dung.

The delegation visited households affected by rain and floods, including: the family of Mr. Le Nguyen Chan and Mr. Cao Van Chau, both residing in Ca Tom hamlet; Mr. Nguyen Van Hai and Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, both residing in hamlet 2, and Ms. Huynh Thi Hoa, residing in Trung hamlet, Tan Thanh commune; the total damage of the 5 households was estimated at 100 million VND, mainly damage to rice, crops, and fruit trees.

The delegation awarded each household 10 million VND from the Disaster Prevention and Control Fund.

At the places visited, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province Nguyen Thi Thu Trinh, on behalf of the delegation, kindly visited and shared the difficulties of the households. At the same time, she gave each household 10 million VND from the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund, to provide initial support to help the households stabilize their lives soon./.
