According to the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention, storm No. 13 is a very dangerous storm, moving quickly, with very strong intensity, wide range of influence, and can cause combined impacts of many types of natural disasters such as strong winds, heavy rains, floods, flash floods, landslides and inundation.
It is forecasted that from November 6 to 7, the area from Da Nang City to Dak Lak will have very heavy rain with common rainfall of 200 - 400 mm/period, locally over 600 mm/period; the area from South Quang Tri to Hue City, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong will have heavy rain with common rainfall of 150 - 300 mm/period, locally over 450 mm/period.
Level 4 disaster risk warning (Western part of the central East Sea, sea area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak (including Ly Son special zone); mainland East area from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai ).

To ensure the safety of people and property, people need to respond promptly, evacuate when required and absolutely not be subjective, and need to follow the following instructions and recommendations.
Before the storm makes landfall: Regularly monitor forecasts, warnings, and updates on storm developments and heavy rain to proactively prevent and avoid them; ensure the safety of boats at anchor, protect fishery cages and rafts; absolutely do not stay on moored boats, watchtowers, cages and rafts, and aquaculture areas when the storm is affecting them; proactively stock up on food, drinking water, medicine, and necessary supplies for several days; reinforce and brace houses; prune tree branches; remove billboards and posters that are at risk of being unsafe; ensure the safety of construction works under construction; harvest agricultural products, especially crop and aquaculture areas that are about to be harvested to limit damage caused by storms and floods; elevate assets and store important documents in safe places.
When a storm hits: Regularly monitor the storm's developments and heavy rain to proactively prevent and avoid; stay indoors, in a safe shelter (close doors tightly, stay away from windows and glass areas; absolutely do not go out when the storm is hitting, except in emergency cases; do not take shelter under trees or electric poles, beware of lightning and accidents caused by objects caused by storm winds).
Absolutely do not stay on boats, watchtowers, rafts, or aquaculture areas when a storm hits, and do not return until the storm has passed.
Save the local rescue phone number, promptly and accurately inform the authorities of your location and dangerous situation in case of emergency, especially the 112 switchboard.
