
According to the Lam Dong Province Fishing Port Management Board, the unit has arranged for officials and workers to be on duty 24/7 from November 5 to 8 to ensure timely handling of situations arising during storm No. 13.

The unit requires all on-duty forces to keep their phones open 24/7 to maintain communication and be ready to take on tasks in case of emergency. Along with that, strictly implement the "4 on-site" motto, proactively respond when storms and floods occur; at the same time, check and maintain all equipment and vehicles serving disaster prevention, control and search and rescue work, ensuring they are always in a state of readiness.

At the same time, the storm shelter management boards - fishing ports coordinate with the Border Guard force to guide fishermen to arrange their boats to anchor safely according to the approved plan. The units also regularly update the storm developments, broadcast propaganda continuously throughout the day to help fishermen proactively respond, ensuring the safety of people and vehicles in the port area.

Regarding the results of counting boats anchored to avoid storms, the Storm Shelter - Fishing Port Management Boards have coordinated with the Border Guard, Fisheries Control Stations, and localities to grasp the situation of fishing boats entering to avoid storms at fishing ports and storm shelters managed by the Fishing Port Management Boards (up to 12:00 on November 6, 2025), with a total of 3,174 boats.
Specifically, as of 3:00 p.m. on November 6, there were 46 ships at Phan Thiet Fishing Port (including 21 ships from Ho Chi Minh City and 1 ship from Ca Mau); Phu Hai Fishing Port had 135 ships; La Gi Fishing Port had 1,835 ships (including 2 ships from Ho Chi Minh City and 5 ships from Khanh Hoa); Phan Ri Cua Fishing Port had 756 ships; Lien Huong Fishing Port had 210 ships; and Phu Quy storm shelter had 192 ships.

After inspecting the situation at the storm shelters and fishing ports, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh highly appreciated the proactive spirit in preventing, avoiding and responding to storm No. 13 of the units and localities.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Management Boards of storm shelters - fishing ports to continue to closely monitor forecasts, promptly update the storm's developments to notify captains and vehicle owners to proactively avoid, ensuring safety of people and property. Units must maintain smooth communication, organize 24/24 hours on duty, absolutely not be subjective or negligent in any situation that may occur.
At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and mobilize fishermen to take shelter in safe places to minimize damage when storms make landfall.
For local authorities, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested close coordination with the Management Boards of storm shelters - fishing ports, Border Guard and Fisheries Surveillance forces to prepare well response plans and scenarios, regularly inspect and urge to ensure absolute safety of people and property.

On the same afternoon, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh inspected the operation of reservoirs at Ba Bau Lake (Ham Thanh Commune) and Song Dinh 3 Lake (Ham Tan).
At Ba Bau Lake, from 9 a.m. on November 3, Binh Thuan Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited has suspended all spillways, operating the spillway at maximum capacity to increase flood prevention capacity, proactively responding to storm No. 13 and unusual weather developments.
