Over 16 years of organization, the IEEE International Conference on “Knowledge Engineering and Systems” has developed into the leading academic forum in Asia, promoting the advancement of knowledge engineering, information systems and intelligent technologies.

On November 6, Dalat University ( Lam Dong ) coordinated with the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi to organize the 17th IEEE International Conference.

The conference aims to create a prestigious scientific forum connecting and exchanging academic knowledge between lecturers and scientists at home and abroad in the fields of information technology and computer science.

The workshop is supported by the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) and the Vietnam Information and Communication Technology Association (ICTFISU).

Dr. Nguyen Van Ngoc, Vice Rector of Dalat University, delivered the opening speech at the conference.

With the theme “Knowledge and Systems Engineering”, the conference provides an open platform to present, discuss and exchange the latest research, development and application results in the fields of information technology and computer science.

Presentations and discussions at the conference revolved around topics such as networking and telecommunications, machine learning, data mining, digital transformation, computer vision, software technology, etc.

Many international experts attended the IEEE Workshop on "Knowledge and Systems Engineering" at Dalat University.

The objective of the IEEE international conference is to bring together leading domestic, regional and international researchers, practitioners and students to share new research findings and practical applications, as well as promote cooperation and connection in the global knowledge systems community.

The conference reviewed that, since its inception in 2009 and through 16 editions, the IEEE International Conference on “Knowledge and Systems Engineering” (KSE) has grown into the leading academic forum in Asia, promoting the advancement of knowledge engineering, information systems and intelligent technologies.

Through a rigorous 6-month review and approval process, with 197 articles submitted, the Organizing Committee has selected 93 excellent articles to be printed in the proceedings. These articles will also be published in the prestigious IEEE publishing house, indexed on the Scopus system.

Hosting this international conference is in line with the strategic development goals of Dalat University in the new period, closely following Resolutions No. 57, 59 and 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; on international integration in the new situation and on breakthroughs in education and training development.
