Accordingly, due to the influence of storm No. 12, from October 25 until now, Hung Son commune has had prolonged heavy rain, causing serious landslides throughout the area. All inter-commune and inter-village roads have been cut off, many residential areas have been completely isolated.

According to the Civil Defense Command of Hung Son Commune, by 11:30 a.m. on November 3, the entire commune had evacuated 86 households with 366 people from areas at risk of landslides. Important roads such as DT606, DH4 and 24 inter-village roads were all heavily eroded, with more than 40 large and small fractures appearing. DH4 Road - the main route connecting the commune center with remote villages - had 35 landslides, many sections were impassable.
Many schools and houses were severely affected. Three kindergartens in Put, Abaanh 2 and Ga'nil villages suffered landslides, posing a high risk of insecurity. In Ariing village, a landslide buried a house, while the foundations of three houses in Arang village were broken and cracked.
Notably, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hung Son commune also suffered serious landslides, with cracked walls and a skewed structure; rocks and soil flooded into the Public Administration Service Center area. The commune assessed that if heavy rain continued, the headquarters could collapse at any time.
Currently, the recovery work is facing many difficulties due to power outages, telecommunication outages, and traffic disruption. Local authorities are mobilizing vehicles and machinery following the “4 on-site” principle to clear the road and ensure people’s safety.
The Commune People's Committee proposed that the city soon declare a natural disaster emergency, support funding to repair infrastructure, landslides on roads, rebuild the Commune People's Committee headquarters, and promptly complete the Ka'ool bridge project connecting Ariing village - the only route for students and people in the highlands during the rainy season.

Meanwhile, Mr. Briu Quan, Chairman of the People's Committee of A Vuong Commune ( Da Nang City) said that Highway 606 from A Vuong Commune to Tay Giang Commune has suffered heavy landslides and is continuing to collapse on high hills, completely blocked.
