In La Ngau 2 village – an area with many eco-tourism spots invested by local people, especially K'ho ethnic households – a series of riverside bungalows were swept away by floodwaters. This area, which used to attract thousands of visitors each year thanks to its pristine landscape, has now been severely damaged.
Mr. H. (name changed upon request), a resident of La Ngau 2 village, shared: “The floodwaters came so quickly and strongly that in just a moment they swept away the entire bungalow, household items, and even the electric poles in the area. The damage amounted to hundreds of millions of dong.”

In addition to damage to tourism infrastructure, heavy rains also caused more than 5 hectares of rice in La Ngau 3 village to be severely flooded, with many areas that have not yet been harvested at risk of total loss.
According to the People's Committee of Dong Kho commune, the locality is mobilizing militia, police and local people to reinforce river banks, rebuild cut-off roads, and check areas at high risk of landslides to warn and evacuate people to safety.
