Join hands to build a green - clean - beautiful living environment

These days, the general environmental cleaning movement, urban and alley beautification, flower and tree planting, garbage collection, sewer dredging... are taking place in all communes in the northern part of the province. This is not only an activity to welcome the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, but also demonstrates the people's sense of responsibility in building a green - clean - beautiful living environment.

In Bac Kan ward, the locality regularly mobilizes people in residential groups, union members, youth, women's union members, and veterans to join in general cleaning of road corridors and streets, clearing drainage ditches, and collecting household waste. Main roads are swept, flowers and ornamental plants are planted, creating a fresh landscape.

Mr. Hoang Van Ung, Head of Residential Group 7A, Bac Kan Ward, said: For a long time, households in the group have always been conscious of environmental sanitation in public places as well as in their own homes. On weekends, when mobilized, households enthusiastically participate in general environmental sanitation activities in the residential group area. Therefore, the roads in the group are always clean and beautiful, many places are planted with flowers and ornamental plants to create green space and a friendly environment, contributing to improving the quality of life.

Mr. Phan Dinh Huy, Vice Chairman of Bac Kan Ward People's Committee said: Towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, Bac Kan Ward has proactively promoted and mobilized people in residential groups to regularly organize general cleaning with the motto "Clean from home to the alley". Through environmental sanitation activities, it also contributes to enhancing the spirit of solidarity among households.

Up to now, 100% of residential groups have made environmental sanitation a common movement, and each individual's awareness of environmental sanitation has been gradually raised, changing people's awareness and living habits.

In Bang Thanh commune, the general cleaning has also been directed and implemented by the local Party Committee and government, and launched to each village. Each family has raised awareness in maintaining public hygiene. Maintaining the "Self-managed Women's Road", "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful Youth Road". The models are associated with the criteria for building advanced new rural areas, contributing to changing the awareness and living habits of people in the highlands.

Mr. Hoang Van Tien, Vice Chairman of Bang Thanh Commune People's Committee, said: The local government has promoted, mobilized and received consensus from the people in building environmental landscapes. Up to now, 100% of the villages have responded to environmental sanitation, inter-village and inter-commune roads, drainage ditches... have all been organized to clear and clean. Not only to celebrate the National Patriotic Emulation Congress, but our goal is to form a civilized lifestyle and environmental protection awareness in each person.

According to records, 100% of communes and the northern region of the province organized at least 2 general environmental cleaning campaigns in October and November 2025. Villages and hamlets mobilized a large number of union members, association members and people to participate in clearing and cleaning inter-village and inter-commune road corridors; waste was collected and treated according to regulations. Many flower roads and green fences were formed, creating a spacious and friendly landscape.

With the spirit of "Each citizen is a beautiful flower in the garden of emulation", the northern mountainous communes of the province are actively contributing to protecting and maintaining environmental hygiene to further beautify the picture of the renewed countryside: brighter, cleaner, more united and full of aspirations to rise up.
