Reporting at the meeting, the leaders of the communes and wards said that since July 1 (the time of administrative unit arrangement), the organizational structure, facilities and staff arrangement have basically met the requirements of the two-level local government model. The administrative procedure settlement has been maintained effectively, the rate of overdue files is very low despite the high number of procedures arising due to the characteristics of the area with rapid industrial, service development and urbanization.

The communes and wards in the Southern region are basically oriented towards industrial, service and commercial development. Therefore, local Party committees and authorities have focused on many solutions, implemented many key projects, promoted the disbursement of public investment capital, and ensured the progress of non-budget investment projects.
Representatives of localities proposed that the province consider support mechanisms for site clearance, resettlement and removing difficulties in carrying out procedures for implementing a number of social housing projects and land rents for businesses in the area.

After the administrative unit merger, the whole province currently has 19 approved industrial parks with a total planning area of 6,406 hectares, of which 12 industrial parks have been established and 6 industrial parks have come into operation, including: Song Cong I, Song Cong II, Diem Thuy, Nam Pho Yen, Yen Binh and Thanh Binh.
The infrastructure of industrial parks is increasingly complete, with the occupancy rate reaching over 90%. Up to now, the industrial parks in the province have 350 valid projects, including 188 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over 11 billion USD and 162 DDI projects with a total registered capital of 47.4 trillion VND.
In the first 10 months of 2025, the revenue of enterprises in the industrial park is estimated to reach 25.95 billion USD, export value reaches 24.71 billion USD, budget contribution is more than 7,000 billion VND and creating jobs for nearly 93,000 workers, including more than 13,000 new jobs.

Regarding investment attraction, in 10 months, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board granted 25 new projects, including 12 FDI projects, 13 DDI projects, and adjusted 123 investment certificates. The total investment capital reached 433 million USD and 23,454 billion VND. Implementing the disbursement of public investment capital for key infrastructure projects, by September 30, 2025, the Board had disbursed 139% of the assigned capital plan, contributing significantly to the goal of completing the province's industrial infrastructure.

In his concluding remarks at the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of industrial development, investment attraction as well as the proactiveness of local Party committees and authorities in performing assigned tasks, especially site clearance, project implementation, and synchronous, smooth and effective operation of local authorities at two levels.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized three key contents that agencies, units and localities need to focus on implementing in the coming time: Continuing to perfect the planning for the development of industrial, urban and service spaces in the Southern region, ensuring regional connectivity and effectively exploiting existing land funds; promoting investment in transport infrastructure, connecting infrastructure between industrial parks, industrial clusters and inter-regional routes such as Ring Road V, DT.261 connecting DT.266; focusing on attracting strategic investment, especially high-tech FDI enterprises, associated with sustainable development and environmental protection.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Industrial Park Management Board and local Party committees and authorities to continue to closely coordinate, remove difficulties, speed up project progress, and contribute to making Thai Nguyen a modern industrial center and a dynamic growth pole of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.
