Amending and supplementing the Plan to organize the Photo Exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through a cinematic perspective"

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 4185/QD - BVHTTDL on amending and supplementing the Plan to organize the Photo Exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through a cinematic perspective" within the framework of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival.

Pursuant to Decision No. 3701/QD-BVHTTDL dated October 20, 2025 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgating the Plan to organize a Photo Exhibition with the theme " Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through a cinematic perspective"; Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 423/VPVN-NCSTQTL dated October 23, 2025 of the Vietnam Film Institute on the proposal to amend and supplement the Plan to organize the Photo Exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through a cinematic perspective" within the framework of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival; At the request of the Director of the Department of Cinema and the Director of the Vietnam Film Institute.

Accordingly, the Plan to organize the photo exhibition "Ho Chi Minh City rises with the country through the perspective of cinema" within the framework of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival issued together with Decision No. 3701/QD-BVHTTDL dated October 20, 2025 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism is amended and supplemented as follows:

Amend and supplement Clause 1, Section I: The film week is organized to respond to the 24th Vietnam Film Festival in 2025, held in Ho Chi Minh City. Exploiting, disseminating, preserving and spreading the historical and cultural values ​​of archived cinematographic documents and materials through films, images and materials currently stored at the Vietnam Film Institute and collected from cinema artists and some documentary images from the Department of Culture and Sports , Department of Tourism, Television Station, Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association, thereby introducing and promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh City during the period of fighting and defending the Fatherland, as well as the period of construction, innovation, integration and development with the Country.

At the same time, help visitors experience the contents of the Vietnam Film Festival Exhibition, create interactions between visitors and the contents of the Exhibition, Vietnamese cinematographic works towards popular communication, promoting to visitors the image of a renewed and developed Ho Chi Minh City. Serving the cultural and spiritual life of the people of Ho Chi Minh City, especially through cinematographic works, at the same time contributing to promoting the image of a beautiful and hospitable Ho Chi Minh City, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Amend and supplement Clause 3, Section II on the form of exhibition: Display of photo panels; Film Festival introduction area; Build virtual reality experience activities; Build a 3600 photobooth area, record short videos from 20 to 30 seconds to help visitors experience the content of the Vietnam Film Festival Exhibition".

Amending and supplementing Clause 3, Section III on communication forms: Communication and promotion of the Exhibition's activities on the Website, fanpage of the Vietnam Film Institute, the Department of Cinema, the Film Festival, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City...; Banners, pennants, streamers, standees, backdrops... at the venue of the Photo Exhibition; Building virtual reality experience activities about the exhibition space, arranging equipment to carry out the experience; Producing 03 clips (05 minutes/clip) for 03 themes of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival Exhibition - 2025; Building a 3600 photobooth area, arranging related equipment to recreate images and symbols of Vietnamese Cinema, filming videos...

Supplementing Clause 5, Section IV, the National Cinema Center designs a booth with a roof measuring 3m x 3m or a size suitable for the space in the Exhibition area (with the identification logo of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival, images of the Film Festival, tables and chairs) to distribute the Film Festival's showtimes and free movie tickets."...

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing. Other contents in Decision No. 3701/QD-BVHTTDL dated October 20, 2025 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism remain unchanged.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the Chief of the Ministry's Office, Director of the Department of Cinema, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, the National Cinema Center, Director of the Vietnam Film Institute and Heads of relevant agencies and units to be responsible for implementing this Decision./
