Ho Chi Minh City opens double-decker bus route "Saigon - Tan Dinh"

On the morning of November 4, Viet Bigbus Tourism and Media Transport Joint Stock Company (Viet Bigbus) launched the open-top double-decker bus route "Saigon - Tan Dinh" with the theme "Saigon Cultural Heritage", opening up a new urban tourism experience for residents and tourists.

The Saigon - Tan Dinh bus route takes passengers through a series of famous architectural symbols and heritages of the city such as: Nguyen Hue Walking Street, City Theater, Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Tan Dinh Market, Central Post Office , Bach Dang Wharf, Ba Son Bridge, Saigon Bridge, Ong Ba Chieu Mausoleum and Metro Line 1 Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien.

The highlight of the bus route is the open space, multilingual audio-visual system, free wifi, comfortable seats, and a team of professionally trained bilingual tour guides, helping passengers to explore and feel the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City while traveling.

On the occasion of the opening, passengers will have a free experience for 3 days, from November 11 to 13, 2025, to show gratitude to the people and tourists, especially towards the anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20. After the preferential period, the expected ticket price is from 145,000 VND/ticket, with continuous departures from 8:30 to 22:30 every day at 133 Nguyen Hue, Saigon Ward.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thu Hoa, Director of Viet Bigbus Company, the operation of this double-decker bus route not only contributes to diversifying urban tourism products but also creates new energy for the city's tourism industry, aiming at the goal of "Modernizing travel experiences: Safety - Comfort - Satisfaction".

The launch of the double-decker bus route is expected to become a new symbol of smart tourism, spreading love for Ho Chi Minh City and honoring Vietnam's cultural heritage.
