At noon on November 3, the flood on the Bo River at Phu Oc station reached 5.28m, 0.78m above alert level 3, 0.01m above the historical flood on October 29. Thus, in just one week, the flood on the Bo River continuously set new peaks.

This is also the third time in less than a week that the Bo River has exceeded the historic flood threshold of 5.18m recorded in 1999.

On the same afternoon, at the Hue Heritage Site, many relics were surrounded by floodwaters. Among them, the Imperial Citadel, the tombs of Gia Long, Minh Mang, Thieu Tri, Duc Duc... were deeply submerged.

The Center for Conservation of Monuments of the Ancient Capital has proactively taken measures to prevent natural disasters. At the same time, it has temporarily stopped welcoming tourists to visit relic sites in the Complex of Hue Monuments.
