On November 4, the Party Committee of Tam Binh Ward (HCMC) held the 2nd meeting of the Ward Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the HCMC People's Council attended and directed the meeting.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Tam Binh Ward Party Committee in recent times. Emphasizing the task of developing the Party, comrade Vo Van Minh requested Tam Binh Ward to pay attention to creating resources from union members, youth, workers, and employees at enterprises and public service units, considering this an important force to train and develop new Party members.
Comrade Vo Van Minh also mentioned the ward's budget revenue and expenditure, thereby requesting the ward to closely coordinate with tax authorities in exchanging data and reviewing revenue sources; at the same time, pay attention to supporting businesses and business households, speeding up the processing of business registration dossiers; and clearing projects in the area to create revenue sources.
He also requested the ward to proactively improve the investment environment, attract businesses, and boldly propose public investment projects.
Regarding national defense and security, he noted the encroachment of roadsides, especially in wholesale market areas, and requested the ward to focus on rectifying urban order, inspecting spontaneous warehouses, ensuring proper operation, and proactively handling traffic congestion while waiting for connecting traffic projects.
Comrade Vo Van Minh said that Tam Binh ward has a lot of room for development. The ward needs to effectively exploit the advantages of the general planning and zoning planning; proactively make a list of breakthrough traffic projects, focus on compensation and site clearance for Ring Road 2; at the same time, coordinate with localities and cities to implement connection projects to open up new development space. At the same time, pay attention to preserving the environment, protecting canal corridors, and mobilizing people to build green roads and green alleys.
The comrade also noted that the ward should review the resolution targets and supplement targets that closely follow the Resolution of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, especially the four tasks that General Secretary To Lam directed Ho Chi Minh City to resolve immediately during his term: traffic congestion, flooding, environmental pollution and building a drug-free city.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, he requested the ward to prepare information technology personnel, promote activities at the Public Administration Service Center, and build internal operating software to ensure smooth leadership and direction.
At the conference, comrade Vo Van Minh presented the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on approving the addition of personnel to the Inspection Committee of the Tam Binh Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term to 2 comrades: Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh and comrade Bui Thi Oanh Tien. The Inspection Committee of the Ward Party Committee currently has 5 members; the Ward Party Committee has completed the Executive Committee of 31 comrades.
