Doctors and medical staff at Hue Central Hospital coordinated with the military and police forces to urgently relocate patients, along with equipment and machinery, from lower-floor departments to higher areas to ensure safety.
Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, requested Hue Central Hospital to develop a plan to ensure the safety of patients currently undergoing treatment amidst the current flooding situation.
At the same time, it is requested that doctors and nurses be constantly on duty, quickly move equipment, records, and documents to higher places, and limit movement within the hospital grounds to ensure safety. In addition, the hospital is applying information technology through a camera system to monitor for incidents and promptly handle them.

At the same time, the Perfume River's water level exceeded 5 meters, surpassing alarm level 3 by 1.54 meters, higher than the historical floods of 2020 and 2023. The center of Hue City was submerged in water, traffic was paralyzed, and many inner-city roads were cut off.

On the afternoon of October 27th, the Hue City Military Command deployed forces and vehicles to urgently transport 30 patients receiving treatment at the second facility of the Rehabilitation Hospital to the first facility in Hue City to ensure their safety before heavy rain and flooding.
Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City, personally encouraged the patients as well as the support forces.

Present at the patient transfer point, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City, encouraged the patients as well as the supporting forces. He also highly appreciated the efforts of the military forces for promptly deploying personnel and vehicles to assist the patients.





On the same day, the A Lưới Area 1 Defense Command and militia forces also evacuated 61 households/250 people from Tru Pi village to safe locations. The Military Commands of wards and communes also proactively mobilized forces and vehicles to urgently relocate dozens of households from dangerous areas, while providing food and supplies to the people.
