
The program is part of a series of activities under the Project "Support to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities in provinces heavily sprayed with Agent Orange" (Integration Project 1), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) (now transferred to the US Government) and approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to be implemented in Quang Nam province (old) in the period 2021 - 2026.
At the festival, clubs, groups of people with disabilities and a team of community care specialists in areas under the Integration Project 1 participated in many activities such as: group games, group activities, and cultural exchanges.
Thereby, creating opportunities for people with disabilities to increase interaction, build confidence and be more bold when participating in community activities.
This is also an opportunity for clubs and support groups to share care experiences and connect with local expert networks, aiming to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
On this occasion, the Center for Inclusive Development Research coordinated with the People's Committees of Go Noi Commune and Chien Dan Commune to organize a discussion to share stories of overcoming difficulties of people with disabilities, combined with interactive games on topics related to providing rehabilitation services and care for people with disabilities.
