In particular, the working group of Bach Mai Hospital provided in-depth training to doctors of Phu Yen General Hospital on urgent post-flood issues, including diagnosis and treatment of Whitmore's disease (a disease caused by "flesh-eating" bacteria); and infection control after floods.

Doctors at Bach Mai Hospital also support standardizing the process of handling and sterilizing instruments in a high humidity environment; instructing on cleaning and disinfecting the entire hospital thoroughly after flooding to ensure safety for patients and medical staff...
