Artificial intelligence today has developed remarkably thanks to large language models (LLM) - built on the foundation of human language and knowledge. FPT wishes to accompany Bach Mai Hospital on the journey of mastering technology, building a smart hospital model, and developing AI platforms to serve Vietnamese healthcare. With the formula 'together, we are the best', when the leading medical team combines with FPT's technological capabilities, we can create new advances for healthcare and national digital transformation".

Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of Bach Mai Hospital shared: “We hope that Bach Mai Hospital will become a smart hospital, in which AI and digital technology are applied not only in diagnosis, treatment, and hospital management, but also towards comprehensive automation. In addition, Bach Mai Hospital aims to connect national health data, build digital health records for all people, create a foundation for research and improve the quality of health care. When there is a standardized large data warehouse, Vietnam will have the conditions to promote research and publish major scientific works. We believe that, with FPT's technological capacity and digital transformation experience, I believe that the two sides will work closely together to realize the goals”.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT affirmed: "This cooperation will open a new path for the application of technology in healthcare, contributing to better serving the people and the country. FPT commits to transforming cooperation orientations into specific actions, helping to reduce the workload for medical staff, so that they have more time for themselves and their families, while improving the effectiveness of healthcare for people".

According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate comprehensively, focusing on four key areas, from comprehensive digital transformation, technology application in medical care and treatment, to health care and medical human resource development.

Firstly, FPT will provide overall strategy consulting and build comprehensive digital transformation solutions for Bach Mai Hospital, aiming to build a smart hospital.

At the same time, the two sides will build a centralized clinical data warehouse and an open data warehouse to serve scientific research, thereby applying AI to support doctors in decision-making and serving scientific research.

The two sides also deployed a data integration axis, connecting with national databases and international health organizations; at the same time, deployed Telemedicine to serve remote consultation, medical examination and treatment; and online training and scientific activities.

Second, FPT and Bach Mai Hospital will cooperate in developing and applying science and technology in medical care and treatment. Specifically, the two sides will apply AI in care, forecasting patient needs, supporting diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, endoscopy, and supporting doctors in making clinical decisions.

At the same time, AI will support efficient resource allocation, medical supply chain management, forecasting demand for supplies, medicines, and consumables, contributing to improving hospital operational efficiency.

In addition, FPT and Bach Mai Hospital will cooperate in researching, developing and improving digital healthcare products, serving the needs of medical examination and treatment and improving the quality of medical services for people.

Third, Bach Mai Hospital will accompany FPT staff in protecting and taking care of their health, providing general, specialized, and periodic health check-up packages, consultation with international experts, on-site medical services, and periodic health monitoring.

The two sides will cooperate in training first aid skills, general medical training, and health care for children and women. FPT will participate in community medical examination and treatment activities when Bach Mai Hospital organizes social security activities and charity examinations for the disadvantaged.

Fourth, regarding training and human resource development, FPT supports Bach Mai Hospital in training hospital management, digital transformation and AI application, while the Hospital coordinates in training doctors, nurses and pharmacists for the FPT Long Chau system.

The two sides will also carry out community activities to support disadvantaged patients, especially women, children and the disadvantaged.

FPT and Bach Mai Hospital have cooperated in the field of digital transformation since 2014 with the FPT.eHospital project - a smart hospital management system that helps digitize medical data, standardize medical examination and treatment processes, and reduce waiting time for millions of patients per year.

Recently, FPT has deployed the FPT.Contract e-contract solution, helping hospitals digitize the contract signing process, saving costs, time and ensuring legal value.

In recent years, Bach Mai Hospital has been considered a model in digital transformation of the Vietnamese healthcare sector, pioneering the implementation of electronic medical records, interconnecting data, applying artificial intelligence and big data in diagnosis, treatment and operational management. The hospital also developed an application that allows people to make appointments, look up records and receive results online.
