On the afternoon of December 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, Huong Tram held a showcase to introduce the album Lifebuoy - a project marking her return after 5 years in the US.

The singer shared that Lifebuoy is not only the name of the album but also symbolizes the audience - the people who patiently wait. She confided that the artist's worry is that if she goes away for a long time, she won't know if she will be remembered, but when she returns, her fans will still be waiting for her and they are her lifebuoy.

The album consists of 12 songs, featuring 3 compositions by musician Hong Quan: Lifebuoy, Wish You Many Sadnesses and Give You To Her. This is the second studio album with many new experiments by Huong Tram.

Regarding the main color blue, she explained that this is a multi-meaning color - representing sadness, peace and hope, accurately reflecting the journey she has gone through.

Notably, Huong Tram invested in filming all 3 MVs for 3 songs by Hong Quan. The musician expressed surprise and emotion, sharing that the songs were written from real stories and reflected the singer's journey.

Regarding music , in addition to pop ballad, Huong Tram experimented with rock with Get out of your game , collaborating with rapper Phuc Du. The title song Buoy for Life follows the cinematic pop direction - combining cinematic space and symphony orchestra, inspired by Never enough in the movie The greatest showman.

Music director Hoang Huy Long contributed significantly to completing many songs, especially Trong em da lon - a song Huong Tram wrote 3 years ago but was not completed because she was too emotional.

Two dancers also flew back from the US to attend after 5-6 years of accompanying Huong Tram. Arthur emotionally said that working with Huong Tram was like a healing journey, helping him find strength.

Sharing of People's Artist Tien Dung:

People's Artist Tien Dung - Huong Tram's father shared today that he is not standing as an artist but as a father witnessing his daughter's musical journey. He expressed his happiness that his daughter is still loved by the audience and thanked the team for accompanying him to create an energetic album.

Closing the show, Huong Tram surprisingly invited Bui Anh Tuan - her "old lover" from The Voice 2012 - to perform with her. She explained that she chose him as a guest because she wanted to redefine the word comeback - not every artist who rests and then comes back is loved by the audience and both of them are lucky to have that. Bui Anh Tuan wished Huong Tram good health to contribute and promised to learn from her spirit.

Looking back over the past five years, Huong Tram said she has learned to face her pain instead of running away from it. She revealed her stress-relieving habits: driving around Saigon, playing rock music at full volume.

Regarding letting go, she admits that this is difficult for women but she learned from the book Letting Go for Happiness . She decided to live slower to take care of her family, see her parents grow old, and her grandchildren grow up. This album is dedicated to those who are looking for a way to live slower to appreciate the important things.

Album Lifebuoy will be released on digital platforms at 8pm on December 1. Huong Tram plans to release a new MV in February next year.
