Overview of Bach Mai Hospital 2 in Ninh Binh about to come into operation

Bach Mai Hospital is completing the final stages before putting its second facility in Ninh Binh into operation in mid-December 2025.

With modern infrastructure and a smart hospital management model, Bach Mai Hospital's second facility is completed with the orientation of becoming a large multidisciplinary treatment center, synchronously applying digital solutions in patient management and care. Many specialized items are ready such as a modern emergency - resuscitation area, a high-tech imaging diagnostic system and an automated testing center. The completion and preparation for operation not only expands the service capacity of the final line but also creates conditions for people in Ninh Binh and neighboring provinces to access specialized medical examination and treatment services right at the locality, reducing travel time and treatment costs.

In a recent progress review meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of Bach Mai Hospital - emphasized the need for the entire system to "join hands and unite" so that the new facility is ready to receive patients from the first days of operation. The scale of 1,000 beds and a synchronous infrastructure system are considered an important foundation for the second facility to fully meet the standards of a modern end-line hospital.

In addition to reducing pressure on the main facility in Hanoi, the hospital also creates a driving force for socio -economic development in the region, as the team of leading experts is distributed more evenly among the provinces.
