Narrowing the educational gap between regions

Following the discussion in the hall about the investment policy of the National Target Program on modernization and improvement of education and training quality in the period 2026 - 2035, Mr. Tran Huu Than, Vice Principal of Hoa Hau Secondary School, Nam Ly commune affirmed that if implemented with the right focus, the program will open up opportunities to improve facilities, narrow the educational gap between regions, and at the same time improve the quality of teaching and learning.
According to Mr. Tran Huu Than, many schools in the area are still lacking classrooms, functional rooms, laboratory equipment and teaching facilities. This makes it difficult to apply technology in teaching. Modernizing facilities not only helps students study in a safe and comfortable environment but also creates conditions for teachers to apply new teaching methods and access advanced educational technology. If the program is implemented effectively, it will contribute to narrowing the educational gap between regions, contributing to improving the overall quality of local education.
Mr. Tran Huu Than assessed that narrowing the educational gap between regions is a key factor to ensure that students in rural or disadvantaged areas have the opportunity to access knowledge equivalent to those in advantaged areas. He affirmed that investing in modern facilities and technological equipment that are synchronously equipped and suitable for teaching needs not only helps students develop their thinking, soft skills and the ability to proactively access knowledge, but also helps improve the professional qualifications of teachers, creating conditions for them to innovate, apply advanced teaching methods, and improve the quality of comprehensive training.
He expressed his hope that if the program is implemented synchronously and systematically, teachers and students will have the opportunity to access a modern learning environment, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education, ensuring fairness, creating a solid foundation for the long-term development of the local education sector. This is an opportunity for education in rural areas such as Nam Ly to develop evenly and modernly, helping students and teachers to benefit from improvements in facilities and teaching methods.
Transparent and focused capital allocation

Regarding the investment policy of the National Target Program on modernization and improvement of education and training quality for the period 2026 - 2035 discussed at the 10th Session, Mr. Doan Van Canh, Vice Chairman of Giao Binh Commune People's Committee, said that in order for the program to be practically effective, the allocation of capital must be transparent, focused and suitable to the specific needs of each locality.
Giao Binh is a commune with many poor villages and hamlets, and uneven educational facilities. Therefore, Mr. Doan Van Canh hopes that the capital from the program will be allocated based on actual needs, avoiding spreading or duplication, especially prioritizing upgrading facilities, equipping modern equipment and creating conditions for teachers and students to access new educational technology. He emphasized that transparency in capital allocation not only helps avoid waste but also creates trust among people and local authorities. When people see that the budget is used for the right purposes, they will accompany and support the program. This is an important factor for sustainable implementation of educational projects, avoiding the situation of resources being spread out or used ineffectively.
In addition, Mr. Doan Van Canh proposed that during the implementation process, management agencies should listen to local opinions, conduct field surveys and come up with specific plans for each level of education and each difficult area; with close supervision from both the government and the people to ensure that all items are implemented on schedule and according to the set goals, helping investment policies to be suitable to actual needs and maximize efficiency.
Vice Chairman of Giao Binh Commune People's Committee Doan Van Canh said that only when capital is used transparently, focused and close to actual needs, the National Target Program on Modernization and Improvement of Education and Training Quality for the 2026 - 2035 period will truly bring practical benefits to teachers, students and the whole society. He expressed his hope that with close direction from the Central Government and active participation from localities, the program will contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning, narrowing the educational gap between regions, and at the same time creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the education sector in the 2026 - 2035 period.
