On the morning of December 4, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Anh Minh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Nha Trang Ward said that due to heavy rain from the night of December 3, water from upstream poured in, causing some areas in the ward to be partially flooded.

Currently, the residential areas of Vo Cang and Vo Canh are flooded, water overflows to the edge of 23/10 Street (connecting Nha Trang with Dien Khanh), however the water level is still under control. "The functional forces of Tay Nha Trang Ward have blocked off some roads; at the same time, informed people to proactively raise their properties to cope with floodwaters. The Ward also evacuated people in low-lying areas in Vo Cang, Vo Canh... to a safe place, specialized vehicles for rescue work, and food supplies have also been carefully prepared" - Mr. Minh said.

Before the warning information from Tay Nha Trang ward, although the water level was not high, many people in the residential groups in low-lying areas were very worried when seeing the flood water coming. Many people brought their belongings to escape the flood.

In Bac Nha Trang ward, rising water flooded some streets in Trung residential group, overflowing into people's houses. Mr. Le Dai Duong - Chairman of Bac Nha Trang ward People's Committee said that from early morning, the ward had directed functional forces to evacuate people living in low-lying areas in Trung residential group. By late morning, 10 households with 25 people in Trung residential group had been evacuated to a safe place.

By noon on December 4, the water began to recede.
