On the morning of November 3, at the Provincial People's Committee Headquarters, Comrade Vuong Ngoc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the Provincial National Target Programs chaired the Conference to deploy a number of key tasks of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (referred to as the Program) and ethnic work in Tuyen Quang province.

After more than 4 years of implementation, the Program for the 2021-2025 period has contributed to promoting socio -economic development; the lives of rural people have been improved, and average income per capita has increased compared to 2021. The targets set at the beginning of the period have been resolutely implemented by all levels and sectors, and have been basically completed, with some targets exceeding the set plan.

In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha acknowledged the efforts and implementation of all levels, sectors, communes and wards in implementing the Program. He requested departments, sectors and localities to focus on urging and accelerating the progress of capital disbursement, carrying out the settlement of payments to put construction items into use in accordance with regulations; focusing on guiding communes to remove difficulties and obstacles, accelerating the progress of Program implementation; strengthening the dissemination and implementation of the Central and provincial directives and the Conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on accelerating the progress of public investment disbursement; reviewing needs, developing a plan to allocate capital in the second phase to ensure timeliness and compliance with regulations; implementing the program in accordance with the principles, criteria and review procedures prescribed by the Government ...
