Poetry prodigy Tran Dang Khoa returns to the river region

On the evening of October 30, 2025, at Turtle Hall (Area II, Can Tho University, Can Tho City), the exchange with poet Tran Dang Khoa - known as the "child prodigy" of poetry - took place enthusiastically with many memorable moments.

In the eyes of readers in general and generations of students in particular, Tran Dang Khoa is no longer a strange name because many of his works are included in textbooks, are part of the childhood memories of many people, touch the hearts of all ages and transcend the limits of time.

Among them, we must mention classic poems such as Grain of our village, Con Son night, Rain, Uncle Ho's photo, Where do you come from, Moon?, Coconut tree, etc. The appeal of Tran Dang Khoa's poetry lies in its simplicity, rustic countryside breath, evocative and extremely pure language.

With the theme Timeless Poetry, the program was organized by the School of Education in collaboration with the Faculty of Political Science, Social Sciences and Humanities, Can Tho University, attracting the participation of more than 1,000 students.
