During the exchange with students, poet Tran Dang Khoa shared his deep feelings about the importance of books to his creative journey. He talked about how he learned, absorbed and applied the language of great writers and poets as well as the treasure trove of folk literature through reading books and newspapers, thereby creating many outstanding and popular poetic works. At the same time, he emphasized the practical benefits of reading in life, especially the role of books in nurturing the soul and developing human personality.
Poet Tran Dang Khoa also shared and answered students' questions related to the poetry collection "Corner of the yard and the sky", which was first published in 1968 when he was only 10 years old.

Binh Dan Secondary School
Poet Tran Dang Khoa was born in 1958, in Nam Sach commune (formerly Hai Duong province, now Hai Phong city). He was known as a "Poetry prodigy". At the age of 8, he had a number of compositions published in newspapers. At the age of 10, he had his first collection of poems "From the corner of my yard", then "Corner of the yard and the sky". At the age of 11, he composed "Grains of rice from our village", a work that is deeply imprinted in the memories of many generations of students.
