Reviewing many draft resolutions on social security and support policies

The Culture - Social Committee of the Hai Phong City People's Council reviewed many draft resolutions promulgating policies and regulations to support and ensure social security.

On the morning of December 4, the Culture - Social Committee of the City People's Council met to review the documents submitted to the 32nd Session (regular session at the end of 2025) of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

Comrade Bui Duc Quang, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council attended the inspection session.

The draft resolutions include regulations on: Mechanisms and policies in discovering, training, fostering excellent students, selecting, using, and rewarding management staff and teachers in the field of training and fostering excellent students at national, regional, and international levels in Hai Phong city; list of revenues, collection levels, revenue and expenditure management mechanisms for support categories for preschool and public general education activities in the city from the 2025-2026 school year; collection levels, collection, payment, management and use of fees for visiting scenic spots and historical sites in Hai Phong city under the decision-making authority of the City People's Council.

The Committee for Culture and Society, the City People's Council also reviewed the draft resolution documents on policy regulations: Supporting additional social insurance contributions for voluntary social insurance participants in Hai Phong city in the period of 2026 - 2030; supporting health insurance contributions for social beneficiaries in Hai Phong city; supporting children in special circumstances and difficult circumstances in Hai Phong city, in the period of 2026 - 2030; supporting social protection groups and social assistance payment fees in Hai Phong city; supporting training, attracting and rewarding human resources in the health sector of Hai Phong city, in the period of 2026 - 2030...

The City People's Council's Culture and Social Committee and delegates highly agreed and affirmed the necessity of issuing policies and regulations.

Speaking at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Bui Duc Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and positivity of relevant departments and branches in drafting submissions and resolutions.

He said that at the upcoming session, the City People's Council is expected to pass 44 resolutions. This is a large amount of work, so relevant departments, branches and units continue to carefully review and make appropriate adjustments so that the Culture - Social Committee can absorb, synthesize and present them at the session.
