According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, cold air has covered the Northeast, North Central and some places in the Northwest and North Central. Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone, in the area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang city, the East of Quang Ngai province, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain on the morning of December 5. From the afternoon of December 5, heavy rain in these areas will gradually decrease.

Heavy rains risk causing flooding in low-lying areas, urban and industrial areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.
