Gasoline price increased to 20,460 VND per liter

Gasoline prices increase, oil prices decrease from 3:00 p.m. today after adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance.

RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND20,460/liter, an increase of VND451/liter compared to the previous adjustment period.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, gasoline prices increased from 3 p.m. on December 4. E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at VND19,822/liter, an increase of VND534/liter. RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND20,460/liter, an increase of VND451/liter.

On the contrary, the prices of oil products also decreased by 50 - 580 VND/liter and kg compared to 7 days ago. Specifically, diesel and kerosene decreased to 18,380 VND and 18,890 VND/liter, respectively. Fuel oil was 50 VND/kg lower than the previous adjustment period, at 13,430 VND/kg.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world oil market over the past seven days has been affected by many factors such as increased tensions between the US and Venezuela; the US and Russia failed to reach an agreement to end the conflict in Ukraine.

The above factors have caused world fuel prices to increase or decrease compared to the previous period, depending on the product. RON 95 gasoline increased by 2.9% to 81.9 USD/barrel on average; each barrel of diesel oil decreased by 2.7%, and fuel oil decreased by 0.6%.
