Inspiration from the pages of books
From literature lessons and familiar books, many students have found the motivation to write. Nguyen Ha Phuong, a student of class 7B11, To Hieu Secondary School, Le Chan Ward, shared that the character De Men in the story "The Adventures of a Cricket" inspired her to write about simple yet precious things in life. According to Phuong, emotions and the ability to observe life are important factors for a work to have soul. She also uses social networks as a "digital notebook" to practice writing, share short poems and receive comments from friends.
In the newly composed poem “ Hai Phong in my heart”, Phuong expresses his love for his homeland through familiar images: the city of red phoenix flowers, the gentle Cam River, Do Son with salty wind... From the rustic poetic flow, readers recognize the delicate observations of a young soul. “The city of red phoenix flowers/ Red as fire in the heart/ The sea sings a peaceful song/ Calling the name of the people of the Port/ Binh Bridge reflects the bright moon/ Cam River stretches far away/ Do Son with gentle wind/ Like the soul of the homeland rising in waves...”.
Many other students also find joy in writing when studying in an inspiring environment. At To Hieu Secondary School, literature teacher Vu Thi Anh Tuyet emphasizes that teaching literature is not just about imparting knowledge, but also a journey to help students discover their emotions, dreams and personal perspectives. The school focuses on building an open learning atmosphere, encouraging students to share their thoughts, imagine and write freely.
From this orientation, many activities have been implemented such as poetry writing competitions, learning projects instead of periodic tests, literature clubs, online literature forums, exchanges with writers and poets. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the school's founding, the writing movement was promoted through a writing competition about teachers and the school. Excellent articles were widely introduced, thereby multiplying the interest in writing among students.

Also aiming at the goal of connecting and sharing, the Literature Station Club of Vo Thi Sau Secondary School, An Bien Ward has become a place where many students can express their feelings. Here, Hoang Huu Minh composed the poem “October of Gratitude”, expressing his sincere feelings for his mother and teachers with simple, rustic verses.
Power steering technology
The rise of social media has made many students less likely to read long or write in depth. However, if properly oriented, technology can become a tool to help spread students' creativity. Digital platforms allow students to post their work, receive quick feedback, participate in online competitions or combine poetry, pictures and sounds to create multimedia products.
According to Ms. Vu Thi Anh Tuyet, technology is not the reason why students are far from literature. On the contrary, if properly guided, this is the environment that helps students access, express and spread their works. She emphasized: "Technology helps them share their emotions faster, stronger, and receive feedback to perfect their works. It is important that we teach them to write not only faster, but also more deeply."
From the perspective of a writer, poet Nguyen Bich Thai, a member of the Poetry Club of the Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition, said: "Children do not need to write anything profound. Let them write about what they think, what they see, what they love. If their first writings are cherished, they will be more confident and write better." This point of view shows that the core of children's writing is authenticity and freedom of expression.

It can be seen that the creative movement among students will be more sustainable if it is promoted by synchronous solutions such as building an open learning space; maintaining a rich creative playground; increasing exchanges with writers and poets; applying technology to create a creative forum and especially promptly recognizing and honoring students' works, even if they are just a few simple lines of poetry.
When inspired and given the opportunity, every student can write their own stories and poems. The movement of writing poetry in schools is therefore not only a learning activity but also a way for students to express their emotions, share their thoughts and find joy in each page of writing. Encouraging writing poetry not only develops language skills but also nurtures emotional life and builds personality - important values in the journey of maturity of the young generation.
