
On October 30, at the headquarters at 178 Quang Trung (Ha Dong), Hanoi Moi Newspaper held a closing ceremony for 16 students of the 43rd course of the Academy of Journalism and Communication. The activity marked the remarkable growth of the students after a month of actively studying and training in a professional journalism environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Lai Ba Ha - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper - expressed: "During 68 years of establishment and development, Hanoi Moi Newspaper has always affirmed its position as a trusted mouthpiece of the Party Committee and people of the Capital. We are truly impressed with the progress and capacity of the students. Not only completing the assigned tasks well, many students also showed sharp thinking and the ability to adapt quickly to practical work. The editorial office always welcomes young talents like you to return to work after graduation."

Looking back on the development journey of nearly 70 years, Hanoi Moi Newspaper has affirmed its position as not only the voice of the Party and the city but also reflects the voice of the people, acting as a trustworthy bridge between the government and the people. Through historical periods, the newspaper has always been a pioneer in innovating content and form, truly reflecting the pace of life of a constantly changing capital.
During their internship, the students were assigned to work in specialized departments under the direct guidance of experienced reporters and editors. Journalist Doan Anh Tuan - Head of the Culture - Society Department shared: "I highly appreciate the initiative and creativity of the young people. Many students have proposed new approaches, expressing a youthful perspective on the cultural and social issues of the Capital."
Sharing the same view, journalist Kieu Duy Chanh – Head of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department – added: “The students had many meaningful field trips, not afraid of difficulties when going to the grassroots. The valuable thing is that they know how to listen and learn from reality – this is an important quality of a journalist.”

In particular, Master Nguyen Thi Huyen - the instructor of the internship group - highly appreciated the significance of the internship: "This activity not only helps students apply theory to practice but also fosters love for the profession, a sense of responsibility of journalists to society, and at the same time learns professional qualities and journalism skills, especially in the digital age like today. The valuable experiences at Hanoi Moi Newspaper - a press agency with a long tradition - are a solid foundation for students to develop their future careers."
In the memories of many veteran journalists, the first days of Hanoi Moi Newspaper were pages that bore a strong mark of the times. Now, when witnessing the young generation passionately working in a modern newsroom, that tradition seems to be continuing naturally and with great promise.
Representing the student group, Trieu Khanh Ly expressed: “Every day of being an apprentice at the editorial office is a valuable experience. We not only practice professional skills but also learn responsibility, meticulousness and passion for the profession from our teachers and seniors. This internship is also a compass for our future journey in journalism.”
