Giving gifts to poor households and families with disabled people in Nam Dan commune

On November 4, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Dan commune coordinated with a volunteer group from Hanoi to visit and give gifts to poor households, families with disabled people and children in the commune.

The program gives gifts to families in difficult circumstances in Coc Cang village.

The program gave 130 gifts to disadvantaged households, 10 gifts to 10 families with disabled people in Coc Cang and Xin Khau villages. Each gift included warm clothes, warm blankets, 10kg of rice, 100,000 VND in cash for poor and near-poor households and 1 million VND in cash for families with disabled people.

In addition, the program also donated 600 woolen hats and warm socks to preschool and primary school students; donated 10 volleyballs to the Youth Union to contribute to the development of the sports movement; supported 10 million VND in nutritious meals for students of Coc Cang and Xin Khau Primary Schools and 20 million VND in social security resources to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty for the commune. The total value of the gifts is more than 200 million VND.
