On November 1, 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ninh Binh province coordinated with the Provincial Police, the People's Committee of Nguyen Uy ward and representatives of households around the area to monitor blasting activities at Thung Gao mountain mine, Nguyen Uy ward, carried out by Dong Son Company Limited according to License for use of industrial explosives No. 1981/GP-SCT dated October 30, 2025.
Previously, the Department of Industry and Trade received an invitation from Dong Son Company Limited to measure and monitor the impact of mine blasting. The consulting unit hired by the enterprise is the North Central Mining Chemical Industry Company - MICCO, responsible for directly measuring the vibrations and sound frequencies emitted by mine blasting.

The monitoring team surveyed the test explosion site and structures that needed protection in the area, including Ham Long Pagoda, Tam Giao Pagoda and the Army Tunnel Gate.
Measurement and evaluation results show that vibration and noise parameters caused by blasting are all within the allowable threshold, in accordance with National Technical Regulation QCVN 01:2019/BCT on safety in production, testing, storage, transportation, use and destruction of industrial explosives.
Monitoring activities are carried out to ensure safety for residential areas and surrounding structures, and to help businesses comply with legal regulations during the mineral exploitation process.
