Ninh Binh Department of Industry and Trade organizes training class to improve embroidery skills for craftsmen

In order to preserve and develop traditional handicrafts in the province, on May 28, 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Sinh Duoc Cooperative to organize the opening of a training course to improve embroidery skills for manual embroiderers in the province.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the leaders and professional departments of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Sinh Duoc Cooperative, lecturers, teaching assistants, and 30 students of the training class.

Training Class Scene

The advanced embroidery training course will take place from May 28, 2025 to June 16, 2025 at Sinh Duoc Cooperative - Hamlet 4, Gia Sinh Commune, Gia Vien District, Ninh Binh Province. During the course, students will be trained in basic and advanced knowledge in producing embroidered products on Bodhi leaves, how to choose materials for embroidery on Bodhi leaves, how to choose and use equipment to produce embroidered products, techniques for making embroidered products on Bodhi leaves....
The training course aims to improve the skills of embroiderers working at enterprises and handicraft production facilities in the province. The focus is on training to improve the skills of producing Bodhi leaf embroidery products as souvenirs and gifts for tourists visiting Ninh Binh province, contributing to the preservation and development of the province's traditional embroidery craft.
