Nearly 100 delegates were trained in knowledge of gender equality and skills in implementing gender mainstreaming.

- During 2 days ( November 6 and 7), the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized a training course on knowledge of gender equality and skills in implementing gender mainstreaming for officials in the commune-level political system.

The training course was attended by 80 delegates who are officials in the commune-level political system with particularly difficult villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the province in the period of 2021 - 2025 of 25 communes (in the area of the old districts of Dinh Lap, Binh Gia, Cao Loc, Trang Dinh, Van Lang).

At the training, delegates were informed about the following topics: capacity building for officials implementing the national target program for economic and social development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas on the protection of state secrets and cybersecurity; general awareness of state secret protection and guidance on implementing a number of state secret protection activities; state management and planning to promote gender equality and gender mainstreaming at the grassroots level; outstanding issues on gender and gender equality in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; communication on gender equality and gender mainstreaming.

Through training, it aims to create opportunities for officials in the commune-level political system to study and research knowledge on gender equality and skills in gender mainstreaming, thereby effectively applying knowledge to performing professional tasks at the local level.

At the same time, contribute to the effective implementation of Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030, phase I from 2021 - 2025.

According to the plan, from November 10 to 11, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will continue to organize training on this content for 80 cadres in the commune-level political system with particularly difficult villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the province for the period 2021 - 2025 of 26 communes (in the areas of the districts: Bac Son, Van Quan, Loc Binh, Chi Lang, old Huu Lung).
