- On November 6, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the communes of Van Quan; Diem He; Khanh Khe; Tan Doan; Tri Le; Yen Phuc to organize the Blood Donation Festival of Lang Son province in 2025 with the theme "Every drop of blood - Giving kindness".

The festival attracted over 460 cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces and all walks of life to register to donate blood. Accordingly, through health check-ups and blood screening tests, 289 people were eligible to donate blood, equivalent to receiving 289 units of blood.

Provincial Red Cross leaders visited and encouraged volunteers to donate blood at the Festival.

The received blood will be brought to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to separate blood components, then distributed to hospitals and medical centers in the province to help overcome the blood shortage in emergency and patient treatment.
