- On November 7, at Chi Lang commune, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the communes of Chi Lang; Bang Mac; Chien Thang; Nhan Ly; Quan Son; Van Linh to organize the Blood Donation Festival of Lang Son province in 2025.

With the message “Every drop of blood - Giving kindness”, the festival attracted nearly 470 cadres, civil servants, employees, workers, armed forces and all classes of people to register to donate blood. Accordingly, through health check-ups and blood screening tests, 340 people were eligible to donate blood, equivalent to receiving 340 units of blood.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Party Committee of Bang Mac commune encouraged volunteers to donate blood at the festival.

It is known that the received blood will be brought to the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion to separate blood components, then distributed to hospitals and medical centers in the province to help overcome the blood shortage in emergency and patient treatment.
