
In the context of the constantly fluctuating stock market, monitoring the activities of foreign investors at large joint stock commercial banks is always an important support for investors to have a more detailed view of the stock and market situation.
According to the latest information from the Vietnam Securities Depository, effective until 9:00 a.m. on November 10, foreign investors are owning the following proportions at three banks: BID, CTG and VCB:
1. Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BID , stock code BID):
Foreign investors currently hold 1,208,304,209 shares (equivalent to 17.21%) out of 2,106,408,575 shares that can be owned at maximum (equivalent to room 30%). Thus, the foreign holding ratio of BID code decreased by 0.01% compared to 1,208,794,682 shares (17.22%) of last week.
2. Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank, stock code: CTG):
Foreign investors currently hold 1,374,119,565 shares (equivalent to 25.59%) out of 1,610,997,524 maximum owned shares (equivalent to room 30%). Thus, the foreign holding ratio of CTG code decreased by 0.07% compared to the level of 1,377,685,719 shares (equivalent to 25.66%) of the previous trading week.
3. Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam ( Vietcombank , stock code VCB):
Foreign investors currently hold 1,799,599,186 shares (equivalent to 21.54%) out of 2,506,702,528 maximum owned shares (equivalent to room 30%).
Thus, the foreign holding ratio of VCB code decreased by 0.01% compared to 1,800,984,124 shares (equivalent to 21.55%) of the previous trading week.
At the end of the trading session last week on November 7, the stocks of major banks had different fluctuations. Specifically, BID shares decreased by 2.6% and closed at VND37,500/share. CTG shares decreased by 4.11% and closed at VND49,000/share. VCB shares decreased by 1.66% and closed at VND59,300/share.
