According to information from Dong Nai Electricity Company, the origin of the power project on DT.753 route is the Tan Phuoc Commune Power Supply Project, Dong Phu District, Binh Phuoc Province (old), under the Southern Rural Energy Project, with a WB loan, energized and put into operation in 2002. In 2012, Binh Phuoc Electricity Company invested in upgrading and renovating this project to supply power at the request of the Silicon Ore Processing Factory.
Previously, to carry out the work of relocating the power grid infrastructure to expand the DT.753 route, Binh Phuoc Electricity Company (old) worked with relevant departments, branches and units to review the records of power projects within the construction scope of the DT.753 route. At the same time, it proposed the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province and the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Phuoc province to propose the cost of relocating the power grid to implement the DT.753 transport infrastructure project. However, due to the lack of agreement on the source of costs for relocation under the responsibility of the electricity sector or the locality, the implementation of relocating the power grid infrastructure has not been able to be carried out.

On September 10, 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai sent a document to Dong Nai Power Company regarding the urgent relocation of the power infrastructure system to serve the construction of the project to upgrade and expand DT.753 road and build Ma Da bridge connecting with Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port. After receiving the guidance document from the Southern Power Corporation, Dong Nai Power Company coordinated to survey and report to the Southern Power Corporation to arrange capital for relocation.
Dong Nai Electricity Company said that previously, the Dong Phu and Dong Xoai Electricity Management Teams had also completed the statistics and made a list of the current status of the power grid that needed to be relocated. Specifically, the second section from pole 48 at Soc Mien intersection to pole 310 of the Silicon Ore Processing Factory will be relocated, with the following volume: 22kV medium voltage line: 13.5km long, with 343 poles; Distribution transformer station: 16 single-phase stations, 27 three-phase stations; Low voltage line: 14km long, with 263 poles. The total relocation cost is estimated at about 20 billion VND.
However, according to the leader of Dong Nai Power Company, up to this point the relocation work cannot be carried out because the entire route has not been handed over clean land. Regarding this content, Dong Nai Power Company has also worked with the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, but the Project Management Board has not yet handed over clean land for the entire route to Dong Nai Power Company to carry out the relocation.
According to the leader of Dong Nai Electricity Company, with the current construction status of DT.753 road and the actual recorded site on October 28, 2025, the relocation of the power grid is not feasible, either intermittently or incompletely (relocating the poles that the construction unit has dug up to the base of the pole, with empty land inside). The reason given by Dong Nai Electricity is that after the relocation, to restore stable power supply, it is necessary to synchronously implement the entire system, including transformer stations, poles, conductors and accompanying switching equipment. The time of power supply interruption for construction needs to be limited to the lowest level, to ensure the living and production needs of the people.

Dong Nai Power Company said: Currently, the investor has not yet handed over a clean site to be able to organize construction. Therefore, to ensure the relocation is synchronous, safe, as well as minimize the impact on people's lives and production, the unit can only implement the relocation when the investor hands over a clean site along the entire route, clearing houses, fences, billboards, trees, etc. that violate the power grid safety corridor.
Dong Nai Electricity Company also requested that, in order to ensure safe and stable electricity supply for people and businesses, the construction unit must take measures to reinforce and prevent landslides on electric poles when leveling and widening roads. At the same time, it requested the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board to coordinate with the provincial departments, branches and sectors to soon determine the location of electric poles and hand over the specific relocation foundation markers for each electric pole.
The leader of Dong Nai Electricity Company affirmed: After the project investor hands over the clean site (entire route) of the relocation locations, Dong Nai Electricity Company will implement the items under the responsibility of the electricity industry, and commit to implementing according to the project schedule.
