Tay Ninh Provincial Red Cross: More than 40 billion VND for caring for the disadvantaged

In 2025, Tay Ninh Provincial Red Cross Society will deploy and carry out many activities to care for people in difficult circumstances and the disadvantaged.

Provincial Red Cross Society gives gifts to the poor

In social humanitarian work, the Association at all levels has mobilized and donated nearly 83,000 gifts, worth over 35 billion VND; regularly cared for 690 lonely elderly people and orphans, worth nearly 310 million VND.

Implementing the Campaign "Each organization, each individual is associated with a humanitarian address", the Association at all levels has helped 3,672 addresses with an amount of over 1.4 billion VND; donated 40 wheelchairs worth over 137 million VND; built 3 new houses and repaired 1 Red Cross house with a total value of over 275 million VND.

Along with that, the Association also mobilized and supported over 21.54 tons of rice for poor households; implemented revolving capital contribution models without interest, and models of helping each other do business with a total value of over 420 million VND.

In health care, the Red Cross Clinic under the Provincial Association organized medical examinations and provided oriental medicine for 38,000 poor people and people in difficult circumstances; organized lunches for staff and poor patients living far away, with a total value of over 1.6 billion VND.

The Red Cross Volunteer Medical Team of the province organized medical examinations and provided medicine for more than 6,500 people, and gave more than 4,800 gifts to the needy in and outside the province, with a total value of over 2.4 billion VND./.
