Attending the event were former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Club "For beloved Hoang Sa, Truong Sa" Truong My Hoa; Major General Nguyen Van Duc - former Deputy Director of the Department of Equipment and Logistics of the Ministry of Public Security ; representatives of the school; departments, branches and 1,000 students.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the system of 3 schools including: College of Technology and Tourism, Nguyen Tat Thanh College, and College of Technology and Tourism has more than 5,700 students; of which the College of Technology and Tourism has 775 students training in the following majors: Health Care and Beauty Care, Technology and Engineering, Languages, Economics and Society.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Principal of the College of Technology and Tourism Vu Huy Hoang emphasized that entering the new school year, the system of 3 schools identified the theme "Innovation - Development cooperation - Improving training quality", this is not only a slogan but also a strategic orientation to build the school into a multi-disciplinary training facility with quality in the national vocational education system.
In the period of 2025-2030, the College of Technology and Tourism determines a new mission to become a modern vocational education institution "practical learning, practical experience" closely linked with businesses and the labor market of Tay Ninh province in particular and the country in general.
The school continues to invest heavily in facilities, training technology, comprehensive digital transformation, building a smart learning ecosystem, where every student has the opportunity to develop professional skills - foreign languages and entrepreneurial spirit; striving to become a high-quality college in the Southern region by 2030.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded the decision to establish Nguyen Tat Thanh College; the decision to accept TTC International Study Abroad Joint Stock Company to the College of Technology and Tourism; at the same time, former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chairman of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, "For Hoang Sa, Truong Sa Beloved" Club Truong My Hoa awarded the Club membership certificate to the collective of Nguyen Tat Thanh College.
On this occasion, representatives of the College of Technology and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who excellently completed their tasks in the 2024-2025 school year; and awarded scholarships to students with difficult circumstances.
Previously, on November 6, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Doan Trung Kien and his delegation visited and worked at the College of Technology and Tourism; informed about the tourism situation of Tay Ninh province after the merger of provincial administrative units and evaluated the training program, teaching staff, and facilities at the school.
Through this, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the College of Technology and Tourism will continue to expand training for more students, especially in the tourism and language groups; meeting the demand for high-quality human resources to serve the province and the whole country in the near future./.
