Along Provincial Road 793, across Tan Phu Commune, some rice fields that are about to be harvested are flooded above the ears. In some places, the ears are still visible above the water, but the quantity is not much, so the owners have to abandon the fields and not hire workers or machinery to harvest.

There is a rubber plantation during latex harvesting that is flooded more than half a meter deep, almost up to the latex cups. Workers have to put down their troughs, temporarily stop harvesting latex, and wait for the water to recede.
Some cassava fields, pineapple, mango, banana and yellow cottonwood gardens of other households were also flooded.

To minimize damage in the coming years, people need to apply sustainable and proactive solutions such as regularly dredging canals and ditches, clearing water flows to increase drainage capacity during heavy rains; building a system of strong embankments and fields, with appropriate water regulation sluices to proactively control water levels in the fields; using short-term rice varieties, or seasonal rice varieties, which are flood-resistant, for cultivation in low-lying areas that are frequently flooded.
In addition, arrange sowing time, avoid peak storms every year according to the recommendations of local meteorological, hydrological and agricultural agencies; regularly monitor weather forecasts and flood warnings of authorities, to proactively and promptly respond./.
