Phinh Ho commune currently has more than 320 hectares of tea, including 115 hectares of ancient Shan Tuyet tea. Each year, the commune harvests about 500 tons of fresh tea buds, of which more than 380 tons are of high quality. With a cool climate all year round, Shan Tuyet tea trees grow naturally, meeting the strict organic standards of many domestic and foreign markets.
Ms. Sung Thi Bau, Ta Chu village said: "Thanks to tea trees, my family's economy is more stable, my children can go to school, and we no longer have to suffer from hunger during the lean season like before."
Not only providing livelihood, tea trees also help Phinh Ho women affirm their role in family economic development, participate in the production and processing value chain, contributing to enhancing the brand value of Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet Tea.

In Phinh Ho, there is the Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet Tea Cooperative and the Ban Mu Agriculture and Tourism Service Cooperative. These are effective cooperatives with the participation of many women members. Women are involved in the entire production chain - from planting, harvesting, processing to packaging and promoting products. Many women are trained in processing techniques, preservation skills and online sales, helping to expand the consumption market and increase income.
Ban Mu Agricultural and Tourism Service Cooperative was established in 2023 with 9 members, of which 5 are female. The cooperative focuses on developing key products such as: Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet tea, red rice, upland taro, black pigs and indigenous black chickens.
“In the coming time, we will continue to expand the scale of production, strengthen links with cooperatives and businesses inside and outside the province to develop the market for product consumption. In particular, we hope to access scientific and technical advances to restore the local specialty red rice variety, learn the process of preserving taro after harvest, in order to extend the time of supply to the market and increase the value of the product” - Ms. Ho Thi Me, a member of the Ban Mu Agricultural and Tourism Service Cooperative, expressed.
In Giang La Pan village, the Women's Association has 95 members, most of whom are actively developing the economy, raising livestock, growing crops, opening small services, etc. Ms. Sung Thi Nga - Head of the Women's Association said: "Many Catholic women are not only good at doing business, but are also exemplary in the "5 no, 3 clean" movement, donating land to open roads, keeping the environment clean and raising good children who study well."

Currently, more than 90% of agricultural workers in Phinh Ho are women. Women have boldly transformed the structure of crops and livestock, participated in socio-economic development programs, contributing to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction. In 2023 and 2024, the Commune Women's Union implemented a model of breeding breeding cows and commercial pigs with a total cost of more than 5.1 billion VND, with 97 households participating, most of whom are women.
The Association has coordinated with the Social Policy Bank in Tram Tau area to lend capital to women members to develop their family economy. Up to now, there are 6 groups, 271 households with a total loan capital of over 18 billion VND; coordinated with the Samaritan's Purse Project to support breeding cows and chickens for 25 women members in difficult circumstances in two villages Mu Thap and Ta Ghenh worth over 700 million VND; the Hagar Project supported funding for 19 disadvantaged households to develop their economy worth 190 million VND; provided training on science and technology transfer to hundreds of members...

“The activities to support women in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction have been given special attention, direction and implementation by the Women's Union of Phinh Ho commune with practical and effective activities, gradually helping female members and people develop the economy, increase income and stabilize their lives. Every year, the Union strives to help 3 member families escape poverty, and strives to establish a cooperative owned by female members by the end of the 2025-2030 term...”, Ms. Sung Thi So - President of the Women's Union of Phinh Ho commune shared.
