Promote the conversion from lump-sum tax to electronic declaration

On November 10, the Tax Department 4 (Quang Ninh Tax) held a Conference to deploy the Project "Converting tax management models and methods for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax".

The 4th base tax is currently managing nearly 6,800 households and individuals doing business in 9 wards: Yen Tu, Uong Bi, Vang Danh, Dong Mai, Hiep Hoa, Quang Yen, Ha An, Phong Coc, Lien Hoa. Of which, more than 6,400 households still pay taxes by the lump-sum method. The implementation of this project aims to concretize the policy of unifying awareness, roadmap and implementation solutions between tax authorities and local authorities; contributing to improving the effectiveness of tax management, ensuring fairness, transparency and convenience for taxpayers.

At the conference, representatives of the tax sector, wards and technology solution providers discussed and agreed on implementation plans. In particular, forces will be mobilized, focusing on propaganda, guidance and support for business households to switch to electronic tax declaration via the eTax Mobile platform, using digital applications in tax management and payment, striving to complete the conversion from lump-sum tax to declared tax before January 1, 2026, creating favorable conditions for taxpayers to be proactive and transparent in fulfilling their obligations to the State.

Tax base 4 and Uong Bi ward People's Committee signed a coordination charter.

The Tax Department of the 4th base and the People's Committees of 9 wards under tax management also signed the Working Coordination Regulations, establishing a close coordination mechanism in information exchange, propaganda, and supporting business households to fulfill tax obligations in accordance with regulations, contributing to the completion of the budget collection task in 2025 and the following years.
