Miniature job exchange

The event was attended by more than 30 businesses and vocational training establishments, with thousands of job vacancies introduced. From IT engineers, technical staff, sales staff, hotel and restaurant staff, to vocational courses and labor export programs. All of these created a “picture” of a vibrant, practical and opportunity-filled labor market.
At the labor export consulting booth, many young people were interested in the Japanese and Korean markets. They were introduced to policies supporting loans, language training and vocational skills before going to work abroad, a direction considered a "stepping stone" for a more stable future.

At the recruitment area, Pham Van Khoi (a final year student at the University of Transport) reviewed his application before entering the interview. “I applied for the IT technician position. This is the first time I met the employer directly and heard them talk about the real needs of the business. The friendly and open atmosphere made me much more confident. I think the most valuable thing today is not only having the opportunity to have a job right away, but also knowing what I need to prepare to be ready to step into life,” Pham Van Khoi shared.

Not far away, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang (48 years old, Cau Giay ward) has just completed a career counseling session. “I quit my job to take care of my sick child. Now that my child’s health is better, I want to return to the labor market. Coming to today’s festival, I feel lucky because there are jobs for middle-aged people. The jobs are quite diverse, from sales to management of apartment building operations services,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang said.
Ms. Hang added that she passed the interview round. “In the context of streamlining the payroll, I feel that I am not left behind because there are still programs like this to support me,” she said.
The stories of Ms. Hang and her friend Khoi are just two of hundreds of cases that found faith and opportunity on November 9.
