Specifically, in October 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 87.6 trillion, up 2.6% over the previous month and up 11.7% over the same period last year, of which: Retail sales of goods reached VND 53.3 trillion, up 2.5% and 8.1%; accommodation and food service revenue reached VND 14.1 trillion, up 3.6% and 24.5%; tourism revenue reached VND 3.9 trillion, up 4.7% and 44.2%; other service revenue reached VND 16.3 trillion, up 1.8% and 8.2%. This figure shows the recovery and positive growth of the economy , mainly thanks to increased domestic purchasing power, accommodation, food service and tourism activities are showing many improvements.
In the first 10 months of 2025, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached 789.1 trillion VND, up 12.7% over the same period last year, of which: Retail sales of goods reached 493.9 trillion VND, accounting for 62.6% of the total and increasing by 11.7% (gems and precious metals increased by 29.5%; wood and construction materials increased by 13%; food and foodstuffs increased by 12%; garments increased by 10.9%; gasoline and oil increased by 10.6%; cars increased by 9.6%; household appliances, tools and equipment increased by 9.6%; other fuels (except gasoline and oil) increased by 9.2%; other goods increased by 13.6%). Revenue from accommodation and catering services reached VND113.2 trillion, accounting for 14.3% and increasing by 18.5% (accommodation services increased by 25.4%; catering services increased by 17.6%). Revenue from tourism and travel reached VND29.7 trillion, accounting for 3.8% and increasing by 26.9%. Revenue from other services reached VND152.3 trillion, accounting for 19.3% and increasing by 9.3%.
