Vietnam's ST25 rice continues to win the world's best rice award

According to a VNA reporter in Phnom Penh, within the framework of the 7th Global Rice Trade Conference that just ended in Cambodia, Vietnam's ST25 rice won the "World's Best Rice" contest in 2025, along with Phka Romdoul rice from the host country.

Mr. Lun Yeng, Secretary General of the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF), said at the announcement ceremony of the results of the " World's Best Rice" contest in 2025 on November 9, two types of rice were honored with the first prize: Cambodia's Phka Romdoul rice with the brand name "Malis Angkor" and Vietnam's ST25 rice, surpassing more than 30 competing rice samples from many countries.

This is the third time that Ong Cua ST25 Rice brand of Labor Hero Ho Quang Cua has won the award for the world's best rice, after winning first place in 2019 and 2023 at international competitions.

The World's Best Rice 2025 competition is part of the 7th Global Rice Trade Conference organized by The Rice Trader, taking place from November 7-9 in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia./.
