
On the morning of November 9, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh and representatives of several departments and branches inspected and encouraged environmental sanitation workers in Phong Dinh and Phong Thai wards - localities that were deeply flooded for many days during the recent flood.

In Phong Dinh ward, Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh visited and encouraged the forces cleaning up the main road leading to Phuoc Tich ancient village. With the motto "Where the water recedes, clean up there", the people and forces here have urgently joined hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and ensure environmental sanitation.

Similar work has also taken place simultaneously in all wards and communes of Hue city since the morning of November 9. The city People's Committee requested localities to strengthen environmental treatment, spray disinfectants in high-risk areas such as markets, medical stations, schools, and concentrated residential areas; focus on clearing sewers and drainage systems to limit the spread of pathogens and protect public health after the flood.

Participating in cleaning up the environment in Phong Thai ward, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Du, a resident of the ward, said that the people of all walks of life in the ward thoroughly grasped the spirit of cleaning up after the flood, not only helping the urban landscape to be restored soon, people's lives and activities to return to normal, but also being an opportunity for the government and people to promote the spirit of self-awareness, join hands to clean up their homes, village roads, alleys, contributing to building a bright - green - clean - beautiful and sustainable Hue city.
