According to data from the Song Luy Hydrological Station, the flood peak measured at 11 p.m. on November 7 reached 28.1 m, exceeding the second alarm level by 0.6 m. The large amount of water pouring in quickly caused localized flooding in many residential areas along both sides of the river.

Preliminary statistics show that the entire commune has 170 houses flooded under 1 meter, concentrated in the villages of Luong Bac, Luong Tay, Luong Binh and Tan Son. In addition, about 200 hectares of crops including corn and various vegetables were also damaged by flooding.

As soon as the flood occurred, the Civil Defense Command of Luong Son commune mobilized local forces to coordinate with villages to respond, support people to move property and livestock out of the danger zone; at the same time, prepare vehicles and supplies for rescue in case of emergency.

Floods flooded into people's houses on the afternoon of November 7.

Households in low-lying areas at risk of deep flooding have proactively evacuated to safe places immediately after receiving notices and warnings from local authorities. Post-flood clean-up and environmental sanitation work is also being deployed.
