Hoi An Tay plans to protect the original state of the ancient shipwreck that emerged.

DNO - On the afternoon of November 8, the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center met to discuss plans to protect and continue research on the ancient ship that surfaced on the coast of Tan Thanh (Hoi An Tay ward).

Mr. Bui Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoi An Tay Ward (Da Nang City) said that after receiving information about the reappearance of the ancient ship, the People's Committee of the ward and the Hoi An World Cultural Heritage Conservation Center came up with a plan to protect the original state of the ship's location.

The incident was reported to the leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang city and the city leaders scheduled an inspection to assess the current condition of the ship and calculate an appropriate handling plan.

Records taken at 3:30 p.m. on November 8 showed that there were almost no traces or images of the wooden boat at the location where it appeared that morning. High tides obscured the wreckage under the water.

Early afternoon on November 8, Da Nang Newspaper, Radio and Television published the news: "Ancient ship washed ashore in Hoi An after storm No. 13", reflecting the ancient shipwreck that surfaced on Tan Thanh beach.
