On November 9, the People's Committee of Con Dao Special Zone, Ho Chi Minh City held the opening ceremony of the 1st Con Dao Special Zone Sports Festival in 2025. According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, all 168/168 communes, wards and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City have completed the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at the commune level before October 31, 2025, 30 days earlier than the requirement of Directive 48; ready for the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025-2030.
