Hanoi: 1,763 members admitted to the Party

On the afternoon of November 10, at Phenikaa University, the Hanoi City Youth Union - Student Association organized a summary of the Youth Union - Association work and youth movement of the capital's schools in the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the work of the Youth Union and the youth and student movement in the capital achieved many outstanding results. Revolutionary action movements of the youth in the capital's school sector continued to be deployed synchronously and in depth, clearly demonstrating the core, pioneering and creative role of the youth force in all fields.

In particular, 8,800 volunteers participated and successfully completed a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, which were recognized by the Central and city leaders.

With the strength of youth and constant creativity, the Youth Union - Student Association at all levels organized 157 startup competitions; 68 job consulting days, 48 ​​seminars and talks on startups with more than 12,000 students attending.

In addition, Party development work was focused on, introducing 2,125 union members for Party consideration, of which 1,763 were admitted.

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi City Nguyen Tien Hung acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Hanoi Student Association at all levels.

Deploying the program of Association work and student movement in the capital for the 2025-2026 school year, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi City Nguyen Tien Hung emphasized the main breakthrough tasks.

Accordingly, this school year is identified as the year of promoting digital transformation. The Association's chapters at all levels will focus on improving digital capacity for members and students, with the target of 70% of students having access to digital capacity building activities.

At the same time, the youth of the capital's schools continue to affirm their pioneering role in volunteer activities for the community, promoting the spirit of vanguard, social responsibility and spreading profound humanistic values.

Youth Union and Association bases focus on improving the capacity to organize and coordinate volunteer activities in a professional, effective and sustainable manner; at the same time, promoting the application of science and technology , digital transformation and enhancing the ability to mobilize and attract young people to participate, thereby contributing to building a civilized, modern and humane capital.

Besides, the "5 Good Students" movement continues to be the spearhead, with the specific goal of achieving 30 central-level titles, 800 city-level titles and 6,500 school-level titles.

At the program, the Central Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 34 collectives and 42 individuals; rewarded 11 collectives and 25 outstanding individuals in the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and 24 collectives and 25 individuals who actively implemented the 2-level local government model; rewarded 21 collectives and 100 individuals who contributed to the series of activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association awarded 9 excellent emulation flags to the Student Associations of schools; the City Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of the city awarded 14 excellent emulation flags to the Youth Union and 19 excellent emulation flags to the Student Associations of schools.

On this occasion, the Hanoi Youth Union proposed the City People's Committee to award Certificates of Merit to 37 outstanding collectives and 14 individuals.
