Additional 3.3 billion VND to support 3 provinces affected by storm No. 13

The Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee has decided to allocate 3.3 billion VND to deploy emergency relief to support people in Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Quang Ngai provinces, localities that suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 13 and its aftermath.

To promptly share the difficulties with people in disaster-stricken areas, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society decided to allocate a total value of cash and goods of more than 3.3 billion VND to 3 provinces: Dak Lak: 1.155 billion VND, 48,000 packs of P&G water purifier powder; Gia Lai: 1.71 billion VND; Quang Ngai: 445 million VND.

The funding is drawn from the Central Association's H2025 relief account opened at the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam ( Vietcombank ) and the aid source of the "Clean Drinking Water for the Community" Project sponsored by Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) through the Americares organization.

Currently, the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee has been and is implementing the delivery of support to the people. The Central Committee continues to receive support to provide support to people affected by storms and floods through account number: H2025 - Bank: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank).
